Amtrak changes schedule again, cancels some services during wintry weather

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Amtrak has announced additional changes to its schedule along with cancelations of some services in Richmond and Newport News on Thursday due to winter weather.

Due to severe weather impacting Virginia, Amtrak said it is following a changed schedule and canceling some services in Richmond and Newport News on Thursday, Feb. 20.

According to Amtrak, Train 86, which stops in Richmond and Newport News, is canceled.

Train 186, which operates between Newport News and New York and stops in Richmond will reportedly operate Washington, DC to New York.

Amtrak added that Train 84, which operates between Newport News and New York and stops in Richmond, will operate Washington, DC to New York.

In addition, Train 174, which operates between Newport News and New York and stops in Richmond, will operate Washington, DC to New York.
