As spring begins, so does Maymont’s April list of events

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- It's spring in Richmond and with things springing back to life, Maymont is springing into its April events.

Maymont is welcoming Richmonders to see its blooming gardens and new baby goats. It also has a list of events posted on its Facebook page.

The events offered are as follows:

• April 3 and April 10 -- Citizen Science: FrogWatch Workshop
• April 3 -- Family Night Hike
• April 12 -- Brownie Celebrating Community, Badge Program
• April 19 -- Dominion Energy Family Easter
• April 23 and April 24 -- Mixed Herbs Container Garden Workshop
• April 26 -- Herbs Galore

Maymont has also announced that its gardens, grounds and farm will now be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free admission.
