Atlee’s Tyler Warren drafted 14th overall to the Indianapolis Colts

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Mechanicsville native and former Atlee Raider Tyler Warren of Penn State was drafted in the first round 14th overall to the Indianapolis Colts. Warren was the second tight end to come off the draft board and will be heading to Indianapolis to play for Shane Steichen.

Warren, a 2020 graduate of Atlee High School, was a star athlete for the Raiders, playing football, baseball, and basketball. As a senior, Warren threw for over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for 677 yards and 10 scores.

While at Penn State, Warren accumulated 153 receptions for 1839 receiving yards and 12 combined scores. He tied a college football record for tight end catching 18 passes against USC and was awarded the 2024 John Mackey award, which is given to the nation's top tight end each year.

Warren was named First-team All-Big 10 as a senior and was a First-team All-American.
