Attic of vacant home catches on fire in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The attic of a vacant home that was under renovation in Chesterfield caught on fire Monday night.
According to Chesterfield Fire and EMS, crews responded to a call for a house fire at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27 for a vacant home in the 1500 block of Wake Avenue.
Officials said a small fire was located in the attic and was marked under control in 15 minutes. Due to the home being vacant, there were no injuries or displacements.
