Become an artist-in-residence at Shenandoah National Park

LURAY, Va. (WRIC) -- Applications are currently open for those interested in becoming an artist-in-residence at Shenandoah National Park for its 2025 season. People of all artistic disciplines are encouraged to apply for the creative program by the deadline of Wednesday, Feb. 5. According to the park, the artist-in-residence program lasts for around three weeks and provides people with the chance to live as well as work while surrounded by Shenandoah's vistas, waterfalls and wildflowers. The park will provide housing, a stipend and a budget for supplies whether you're a musician, painter or participant in any other visual arts medium.
