Black-owned Richmond business Natroganix offers juices, herbs and plant foods

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- During Black History Month, 8News is highlighting Black-owned businesses in Central Virginia, including Natroganix, which offers juices, herbs, plant foods and more.

In the morning on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 8News Anchors Delaney Hall and Autumn Childress met with Natroganix owner Natalie Doss to learn more.

"Natroganix is 'natural' and 'organic,'" Doss explained. "We are a holistic flow space. We are a community space for Richmond, now, and we just opened Dec. 9, and we are fairly new to the area."

Doss added that the business offers all-natural resources like raw plant food, freshly pressed juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, herbs and, soon, classes.

In the studio, Doss demonstrated how the business crafts its Walnut Wisdom Wrap, which includes sun-dried tomatoes, fresh grape tomatoes, plantains, red onion, a walnut mix and avocado wrapped in a collard leaf. Doss also brought in juices for Hall and Childress to sample.

Natroganix is located at 105 East Broad St. in Richmond. For more information, visit the business' website.
