Brick House Diner opens new location in Midlothian

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Chesterfield County diner held its grand opening at its brand-new Midlothian location Wednesday.

Brick House Diner held its grand opening to the public from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, as per a social post from the restaurant.

The new location is situated at Westchester Commons, located at 100 Schofield Drive in Midlothian.

"Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to Brick House Diner over the years," the diner wrote. "We are sincerely grateful for the friendships and memories we’ve built with you at our current location."

This comes four months after the sudden death of employee Shannon Bennett, who died on Feb. 11 at 27 years old, who was reportedly seven months pregnant. The child survived.

They held a fundraiser for her death -- the Grill and Give Fundraiser.
