Brunswick woman dead after four cars hit her in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Brunswick County woman is dead and two drivers are facing DUI charges after she was hit by four cars while crossing a Chesterfield County street.

The deadly crash took place at about 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 in the 7100 block of Hull Street Road, according to the Chesterfield County Police Department.

Per police, 27-year-old Krystal Parker of Brunswick was crossing westbound Hull Street Road when four vehicles hit her. She died at the scene.

Two of the four involved drivers -- who police identified as 27-year-old Karen G. Palma Martinez and 33-year-old Kevin C. Bingham, both of Chesterfield -- fled the scene of the crash.

Martinez was stopped by police in the area of Hull Street Road and Mockingbird Lane following the crash, while Bingham was found at a gas station.

According to police, both Martinez and Bingham were intoxicated. They have since been charged with DUI and felony hit and run. Both have been released on bond as of the time of reporting.

The other two drivers stayed at the scene and have cooperated with officers, police said.
