Cat rescued from well by Hanover County Fire-EMS crews

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A cat was rescued from a well by Hanover County Fire-EMS crews on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, Hanover County Fire-EMS crews were dispatched to a pump house for the report of a small animal that was stuck inside a well.

According to officials, crews arrived to find a well pump house 10 feet underground with a cat stuck inside.
A firefighter was able to rescue the cat, after which it was taken in by Hanover County Animal Control for evaluation.
