Chesterfield Fire and EMS to host free hands-only CPR class

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County Fire and EMS will be partnering with Chesterfield Public Library to help teach people how to perform hands-only CPR next Monday.

Interested participants can head to the Meadowdale Library, located at 4301 Meadowdale Blvd, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 17. This is a free event, and people ages 13 and up are welcome -- those ages 13 through 17 will have to be accompanied by a guardian.

Those that complete the class will not receive CPR/AED certifications, but they will get valuable information regarding hands-only CPR and AED awareness.
