Chesterfield Police ask for help to solve 14-year-old homicide case
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- It's been 14 years since James Patrick Mosley died in the parking lot of his townhouse after being shot by an unknown assailant, and Chesterfield Police are continuing to ask for public help in solving the case. According to police, on Friday, Nov. 12 in 2010 at around 11:40 p.m., officers responded to a call about shots fired in the area of Bridget Court located in North Chesterfield. Once they were on scene, they found Mosley in the parking lot of his townhouse with several gunshot wounds. Mosley died at the scene due to his injuries. Mosley's family members are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for anyone that has information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his homicide.
