Chesterfield Police search for 14-year-old boy believed to have run away, emergency alert issued

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield Police Department is searching for 14-year-old Brayden Farrar, for whom officials sent out an emergency alert to those in the area.

At on Monday, Dec. 22, an emergency alert was issued on behalf of Chesterfield Police, who are searching for 14-year-old Brayden Farrar.

The emergency alert described Farrar as being white, and said he was last seen wearing a black NASA hoodie with grey windbreaker-type sweatpants.

At 9:37 a.m. on Monday, police shared a press release that stated Farrar has autism and is believed to be a runaway.

Officials said Farrar's last known location was at the Rockwood Office Park in Chesterfield's Midlothian area just after midnight on Monday.

Police provided the following image to help the suspect find him.
