Chimney fire damages Prince George home

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Prince George County home was damaged by a chimney fire Wednesday evening. The evening of Wednesday, Jan. 22, Prince George Fire and EMS responded to the 6400 block of Thweatt Drive for report of a chimney fire. The fire was soon put out and there were no reported injuries. A spokesperson for Prince George County Fire and EMS told 8News that no one was displaced by the fire's damage.
