Closure coming to parts of Midlothian Turnpike intersection

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A road closure is coming to part of a Midlothian Turnpike intersection next week due to construction.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, and Wednesday, July 16, drivers should expect to see some lane closures at the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike and 32nd Street, according to Richmond’s Department of Public Works (DPW).
The department said these closures are due to the contractor removing foundation junction boxes, which is part of a traffic signal installation project, which will include the removal of pole foundations and junction boxes throughout the intersection that closed this past week.
