Couple thanks Chesterfield Fire and EMS for saving their lives

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A couple visited the Chesterfield County Fire and EMS station to give thanks and meet the firefighters who they said saved their lives.
According to a Facebook post from Chesterfield Fire and EMS, in 2024 the couple suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Buford Road in August.
Firefighters from station five and nine responded to the scene and took the them both the hospital.
According to Chesterfield Fire and EMS, "The couple says they were grateful for the opportunity to thank them and wanted to recognize our firefighters for the important work they do each every day."
