Crash involving at least 4 vehicles shuts down I-64 West in New Kent

NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A crash involving at least four vehicles has shut down Interstate 64 West in New Kent County on Thursday.
The crash took place just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, along I-64 westbound near Old Roxbury Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
Virginia State Police told 8News that the crash involved between four and 5 vehicles.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.

As of 8:50 p.m. Thursday, all westbound lanes and the left shoulder are closed as first responders work to clear the scene. State police said through-traffic is currently getting by on the right shoulder.
