Crash shuts down I-64 East in New Kent

NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A crash has shut down Interstate 64 East in New Kent County on Thursday.
The crash took place just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, on I-64 eastbound near Eltham Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
As of 8:06 p.m., all eastbound lanes are closed as first responders work to clear the scene.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted off of I-64 at exit 220, or Eltham Road.
