Diversity Richmond to hold ‘Big Gay Love Market’ to celebrate the market’s one-year anniversary

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Diversity Richmond will hold its "Big Gay Love Market" on Sunday to celebrate the market's one year anniversary and support 50 LGBTQ+ makers and artists. The market will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9 at Diversity Richmond's location on 1407 Sherwood Avenue, and will feature a large line-up of LGBTQ+ makers and artists, as well as organizations and mutual aid groups to connect attendees to resources. According to the organization, there will be live music and food provided by 1115 Mobile, With Love, Cat & Thea, Eddie Rose Coffee and AF Bev Co. Mutual aid groups include RVA Community Fridges, MadRVA, the Dandelion Hive and more. Those interested in attending the event must donate money at the door for entry, however, the organization said no one will be turned away for the lack of funds. Attendees are encouraged to wear face masks at the event to help the community stay safe.
