Dolly Parton’s imagination library comes to Goochland
GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new imagination library featuring a very special country music star has arrived in Goochland County to promote literacy development.
The program, Dolly Party's Imagination Library, which was announced earlier this week, delivers free books to children's mailboxes -- from the time they are born to their 5th birthday.
"It is a fantastic way to build their home library and foster a love for reading," a release from Goochland County reads. "Reading to children early on helps their literacy development and prepares them for school."

The free program is free to families and is in partnership with the Henrico Education Foundation and Goochland Social Services, per a release.
According to the county, the program is only available to children up to 5 years old and Goochland residents, with no income requirements to participate.
