Dominion Energy Family Easter returns to Maymont this spring
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The annual Dominion Energy Family Easter is hopping back to Maymont this spring for a full day of family-friendly fun.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, community members can join in the fun at Maymont with games, crafts and live entertainment and celebrate Easter.
From the Carriage House Lawn to Maymont Farm, over 100 acres of the park will host egg-citing activities for all ages, including inflatable sports games, a life-sized Candy Adventure course, a hop-stacle course and festival-style games.
Per the release, families can also explore stations featuring temporary tattoos and hands-on crafts like Easter bonnet-making. Maymont said participants should bring an Easter basket to carry home toys and prizes.

"For 100 years, Maymont has been a favorite gathering place for the Richmond community,” said Parke Richeson, Maymont president and CEO. “With the gardens in bloom, baby animals at Maymont Farm and Maymont Mansion open once again, Dominion Energy Family Easter will be extra special this year.”
Kids will also have a chance to meet the Easter Bunny, magical princesses and Richmond's own Nutzy and Nutasha. They can also learn from local heroes and helpers, such as firefighters, EMTs and public safety professionals.
Guests can also enjoy a full day of live entertainment on three stages at the park. The lineup includes Jonathan the Juggler, the SPARC Touring Ensemble, the Swingers Jump Rope Team, Richmond Urban Dance and Maymont's animal ambassadors.
Tickets are $7 for adults, and $5 for seniors aged 65 and over and children aged 1 to 16. All proceeds go toward Maymont's care for the green space. For more information, visit Dominion Energy Family Easter.
