Double lane closures on I-95 for pipe replacement project in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- On Wednesday, July 30, The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), announced it will be conducting double lane closures on Interstate 95 northbound from Aug. 1 to Aug. 4.
The closure will take place near the Bells Road interchange near mile marker 71.3 starting Friday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m., through Monday, Aug. 4 at 5 a.m.,
This comes as a part of a pipe replacement project in Richmond according to VDOT.
Drives traveling through Richmond are asked to use Interstate 295 and Route 288 to avoid any significant delays.
