Driver allegedly flees scene after vehicle hits traffic sign, gets stuck in culvert in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver and passenger reportedly fled after a vehicle hit a traffic sign in Richmond and became stuck in a culvert early Tuesday morning.
At 1:06 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the intersection of Warwick Road and W. Carnation St. for the report of a crash.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had hit a traffic sign and became stuck in a culvert.
Police said both the driver and passenger fled the scene. The vehicle was subsequently towed.
