Driver hospitalized after minivan rolls multiple times in crash in Middlesex County

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A minivan driver is reportedly in critical condition after their vehicle rolled multiple times in a crash in Middlesex County on Wednesday.
Around 11:25 a.m. on July 2, a 2011 Dodge minivan, traveling south on Route 17, ran off the roadway and through the median before hitting an embankment and a culvert, according to the Virginia State Police.
The vehicle then rolled over several times before striking an embankment and coming to a rest in the northbound lanes.
The driver is said to be in critical condition and has been transported to Walter Reed Hospital.
