Driver in hospital after tractor-trailer flips on I-64 in Henrico
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver is in the hospital after their tractor-trailer ran off-road and flipped onto a concrete median along Interstate 64 East in Henrico County on Tuesday.
At 5:44 p.m. on Tuesday, the Henrico County Police Division reported that its officers were on scene assisting Virginia State Police with a tractor-trailer crash on I-64 East near the exit to Staples Mill Road.
State police told 8News that the driver of a tractor-trailer ran off-road and flipped, landing on top of a raised concrete median.

State police said that the driver told state troopers that their load shifted while they were navigating the curve of the highway.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
As of about 6 p.m. on Tuesday, the east left shoulder, left lane and left center lane on I-64 are closed, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The west left shoulder, left lane and left center lane are closed, as well.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
