Driver killed in single-vehicle crash in Amelia

AMELIA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Amelia County on Tuesday.
The crash took place the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the 6900 block of Richmond Road, according to Virginia State Police (VSP).
Details are limited as of the time of reporting. However, a VSP spokesperson confirmed that the crash involved a single vehicle and that its only occupant died.

This is the second deadly crash in Amelia that 8News has reported on in recent days. On Sunday, Sept. 7, a 33-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash on Chesdin Lake Road.
