Drivers advised to follow detours during City Point Road closure

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- To ensure public safety, City Point Road in the City of Hopewell will remain closed throughout Father's Day weekend while construction crews evaluate the road conditions.
According to the city, City Point Road will be closed while construction crews continue work on the paving project.
Drivers are recommended to follow the detours posted and reduce speed in the construction zone area.
