Duke’s Hot Tomato Summer 2025 kicks off with over 100 participating Richmond restaurants

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Duke's Hot Tomato Summer has returned to for its fifth year, and more than 100 Richmond restaurants have specials featuring tomatoes and Duke's Mayo.

Duke's Hot Tomato Summer kicks off on July 17 and runs through July 27, featuring more than 100 participating Richmond restaurants.

Featured menu items include BLTs, seafood dishes, tomato-y appetizers, fritters, ice cream and more.

In the previous years, the event was a Richmond-only event, which has since expanded to cities in Tenn., NC and SC.

In addition to a variety of dishes, folks can also grab a hand-poured Duke's Hot Tomato Summer candle from Na Nin, a clothing and fragrance shop with two Richmond area locations.
