Elegant Cuizines to close doors of Richmond location later this summer

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A fine dining restaurant in downtown Richmond announced on Tuesday that it will close its doors later this summer.

On Tuesday, July 8, Elegant Cuizines took to social media to announce it will be closing its Richmond location, located at 415 W. Grace Street, in August, saying it is "simply stepping into a new season."

"Thank you, Richmond, for welcoming us with open arms and warm hearts," the restaurant wrote. "This journey has been filled with challenges, growth, and countless lessons that we will carry with us always."

According to its social post, the last day of operation at the Richmond location will be Aug. 6. However, it will be closed from July 13 to July 19 for its annual Pray. Eat. Talk. week but will return the following week.

The restaurant added that more business news will be shared at a later date, but no other information about those plans is available as of the time of reporting.
