Fares for Access on Demand in Chesterfield to increase for 2026
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Fares for Access on Demand rides in Chesterfield will be increasing for the new year.
According to a county release, the increase in fares is a result of rising costs associated with the program, prompting Chesterfield County Mobility Services to raise fares starting Jan. 1, 2026.
Officials said in-county fares will increase from $6 one way to $10, and trips outside of Chesterfield will increase to $15 one way.
