Firefighters and puppies: Half a dozen puppies up for adoption at Chesterfield Animal Services

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking to adopt a little furry friend? Seven puppies are available for adoption via the Chesterfield County Animal Services and Fire and EMS this week.
Before they find their forever home, these puppies visited Fire Station 25 on Friday afternoon to spend time with some firefighters.
According to a social post from the county's animal services, the seven puppies are from two separate litters and are all around three months old.
The animal services emphasized that, while the puppies have all been spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed and have received their required vaccinations, they will need assistance with basic obedience and housetraining.
