Firefighters battle fire at Petersburg manufacturing plant

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Petersburg firefighters battled a commercial fire at a manufacturing plant on Monday.
At about 10:45 a.m. on Monday, April 28, Petersburg Fire Rescue & Emergency Services reported that all units were called to the Brenco manufacturing plant on Frontage Road for a structure fire.
The first crew to arrive at the scene could not see any fire from outside of the building. Upon further investigation, firefighters found flames in its ductwork.
Two 12-year-olds charged in connection to multiple Petersburg robberies
The scene was brought under control within an hour. Fire officials did not report any injuries.
