Founder of Bev’s Homemade Ice Cream and Cafe dies
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Beverly Mazursky, the founder of Bev's Homemade Ice Cream and Cafe, has died.
The current owner of Bev's Homemade Ice Cream and Cafe made the announcement on Facebook on Monday, June 16, saying that Mazursky had died on Sunday, June 15.
According to the post, Mazursky ran an original location in Massachusetts and eventually brought her sweet treats and culinary talents to Richmond's Carytown in 1998.

She was devoted to the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) model, and lived by that saying," the social post reads. "Bev claimed that the best ice cream combo is Vanilla and Coffee, and would eat it even if it gave her a bellyache."
The full tribute can be found here, highlighting Mazursky's personality, dedication to her shops and how she passed along her love for ice cream to many.
