Fourth annual Dog Show Cluster heads to Hanover County
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Attention, dog lovers of Central Virginia! The fourth annual Dog Show Cluster is heading to Hanover County in March.
According to the town of Ashland in Hanover County, the Virginia Beach Kennel Club and Langley Kennel Club will bring over 1,000 dogs to strut their stuff at The Meadow Event Park located at 13191 Dawn Blvd. in the Doswell area from March 20 through March 23.
Attendees will be able to see rare and popular breeds, chat with breeders and handlers, and find their next family or show dog.
Visitors will also be able to shop from vendors selling dog-themed gifts, treats, clothing, beds, ice cream and more.
In addition, a canine eye clinic will be held on Saturday, March 22, which will be first-come, first-served.
According to the town of Ashland, clothing sales will benefit the AKC Humane Foundation, which provides grants to women's shelters that accept pets.
Admission to the event is free, and visitors must pay a $5 parking fee.
