ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Authorities are trying to find the owner of a group of free-ranging cattle that have been damaging both crops and property in Orange County for several months.

On Sunday, Aug. 24, the Orange County Sheriff's Office took to Facebook to ask the public's help in identifying the owner of some cattle.

For several months, the cattle have been free-ranging in the area of Monrovia and Tomahawk Creek roads, near the Taylor Hunt Club.

In that time, this group has caused damage to both crops and property, authorities said.
