Frontier Airlines debuts first flight from RIC

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Frontier Airlines service touched down at Richmond International Airport (RIC) for the first time on Friday.
Flying from Atlanta, the first flight into RIC arrived around 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, where the inaugural flight from RIC to Atlanta took off shortly thereafter at 12:05 p.m.
It's one of two destinations debuting at RIC. Frontier will also take Richmond passengers to Denver starting this Sunday, Oct. 19.
Passengers can now fly Frontier from RIC to Atlanta nonstop on Fridays and Mondays, while Frontier will also take passengers from RIC to Denver nonstop on Sundays and Thursdays.
