Frontier offering direct flights from RIC to Orlando for spring break
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Frontier Airlines has announced new nonstop flights to Orlando, Fla., from Richmond International Airport for Spring Break.
Starting April 2, 2026, Frontier will offer direct flights from the Richmond International Airport (RIC) to Orlando International Airport in Florida (MCO). This new route will be operated twice a week for a limited time with fares starting at $39. This is the third nonstop destination offered since Frontier's return to RIC earlier this year.
“There’s a lot to be excited about as we head into 2026—from expanding our network to rolling out our new First Class experience – and we’re thrilled to offer Richmond-area consumers even more affordable spring break flight options as we continue to grow with new nonstop service to Orlando,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.
Frontier Airlines has introduced new changes to its product and customer service to begin a new era called "The New Frontier." Some of these changes include "UpFront Plus" seating, an upgrade seating option that offers extra leg and elbow room for the first two rows of the aircraft. Customers can also enjoy a window or an aisle seat with a guaranteed middle seat. As well as the "unlimited companion travel" for its loyal flyers. This allows customers the option to choose a different companion for each flight.
For the promotional fare offer, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 pm on Dec. 10. It will be offered for nonstop travel on select days of the week from Mar. 6, 2026, to Apr. 13, 2026. Not all markers are available for every day of travel.
