Fuel leak from Chesterfield 7-Eleven closes part of Robious Road

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Officials are urging Chesterfield County residents to avoid part of Robious Road after it was closed due to a fuel leak.

At around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS took to social media to warn residents of an oil leak on Robious Road.

Per the post, the eastbound lanes of Robious Road between Old Bon Air Road and Midlothian Turnpike have been closed.

Firefighters and crews with the Hazmat team are on scene working to contain the spill, which officials said was leaking out of a pump at a 7-Eleven gas station.

Rubious Road is expected to be closed for "an extended period of time," per officials.
