Greater Richmond Home Show brings home improvement inspiration to life

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Community members and homeowners are invited to find the next inspiration for their upcoming home improvement at the Greater Richmond Home Show this weekend.

8News on Saturday, Jan. 10, visited the show, which opened its doors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to welcome hundreds of vendors and attendees. Organizers said no matter which stage of home redesigning folks are in -- whether it's remodeling, landscaping or decorating -- there's something for everyone.

Parnel "Stella" Bameh, with the aromatherapy candle line "House of Parnel," said the show offers live interactions between small businesses and potential customers and other valuable opportunities.

"It's an opportunity for businesses who are smaller, who may not have the opportunity to get in front of a bunch of people. For us small businesses, that's really a lifeline," Bameh said. "It allows for small businesses to get the opportunities that they wouldn't otherwise get."

Bameh said the show is a great place for customers looking for new brands and businesses as well.
