Greensville inmate ‘walked off’ prison property
GREENSVILLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Authorities are searching for an inmate after he "walked off" prison property in Greensville County on Friday.
Jeremy Paul Bushey, an inmate at Deerfield Men's Work Center #2 within the Greensville County Correctional Complex, reportedly "walked off" Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) farm property at about 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, according to a VADOC press release.
He is currently serving a just under 3-year sentence for multiple nonviolent crimes, including grand larceny.
Bushey, pictured below, is described as a 27-year-old white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs about 188 pounds, authorities said.
