Groovin’ in the Garden concert series returns with bands Everclear, Saint Paul & The Broken Bones
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Groovin’ in the Garden concert series will return this summer, with a performance from American rock band Everclear and soul band Saint Paul & The Broken Bones as the main act.
Saint Paul & The Broken Bones will serve as the first performance of the year. The band is set to perform at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on Tuesday, April 21, per the Broadberry.
The music venue also announced that Everclear will come to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on Wednesday, June 17, with special guest Long Arms.
For both events, doors open at 6 p.m., with both shows opening at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb 13, and start at around $52.
Last year, the concert series featured Rumors ATL as the main act.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase, but no outside food or drinks are allowed.
Everclear is best known for their platinum-selling alternative rock hits in the mid-to-late 1990s, and hit singles, such as "Santa Monica," "Father of Mine," "I Will Buy You a New Life" and "Wonderful," while Saint Paul & The Broken Bones is well-known for tracks, which include "Call Me," "All I Ever Wonder" and "Apollo."
According to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Straight No Chaser will headline on July 9 -- though announcements about additional upcoming acts will be made soon.
