Gun found at Dinwiddie High School, authorities say no threat to community
DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A gun was found in a student's vehicle at Dinwiddie High School on Thursday, with officials saying the incident posed no threat to the community.
A spokesperson for Dinwiddie County Public Schools confirmed that a gun was found in a student's vehicle at Dinwiddie High School on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Officials said they received a tip from the Dinwiddie Sheriff's Office and a search of the vehicle was immediately conducted, resulting in the gun being found.
"At no time was there a threat to students, staff, or school community," the spokesperson said.
