Hand/Thrown Studio to host holiday market featuring artists, ceramicists
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Make your holiday shopping easier with handmade products from local artists and ceramicists at the Hand/Thrown Holiday Market hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University's Institute for Contemporary Art. The Hand/Thrown Holiday Market will be held Friday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 8 at the ICA forum -- located at 601 W. Broad St. According to ICA, this holiday pop-up market will feature the work of ceramic artists who are teachers and workers at the Hand/Thrown Studio. Market Hours: Friday, Dec. 6 -- 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The artists participating in this year's holiday market include: Alexis Courteny, Carla Pillsbury, Claire Jensen, Dvora Courtland, Emily Wicks, Hanami Morris, Jacqueline Edmunds, Jess Cullen, Jess Gary, Kat Donnally, Kelly Redling, Kestrel Sharp, Kim Maxwell, Laurel Marsden, Lelia Jenkins, Lindsay Wood, McKenzie Ahmadi, Megan Ayers, Rhythm Sutherland, Rice Evans, Stephanie Rowan and Tasha Rivera.
