Hanover’s Got Talent to showcase local performers
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The town of Ashland in Hanover County has announced that "Hanover's Got Talent," a county-wide talent show, will be held at the Ashland Theatre in April.
According to the announcement by the town of Ashland in the morning on Tuesday, March 18, singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, magicians and all performers are encouraged to perform.
Anyone ages 8 and up can audition via a solo act, duet or group, the post said.
The top 15 acts selected from auditions will then take the stage at the Hanover's Got Talent Showcase at the Ashland Theatre, located at 205 England St., on Saturday, April 19.
The town said the tops three scoring acts will win prizes and have the opportunity to be featured as guest performers at future events.
To audition, register online to secure your audition spot. Once registered, organizers said you'll receive an email with your audition time at the Hanover Arts and Activities Center.
Rehearsal will be mandatory for those selected to perform in the showcase, according to the post.
The time of the showcase will reportedly be announced soon.
