Henrico County home damaged after being hit by a car
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A home in Henrico County was damaged after being hit by a car Sunday afternoon.
At around 3:35 p.m., Henrico Police responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 800 block of Azalea Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found that a vehicle had left the roadway and hit the front of a house on that block. No one was at home at the time.
Police said the accident caused significant damage to the front porch area of the house. The residence was stabilized by the Henrico County Division of Fire shortly.

Per officials, the driver of the vehicle was an adult male who had a medical emergency that possibly led to the incident. He was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
Azalea Avenue was closed following the incident, but reopened around 6 p.m.
No charges have been made at this time.
