Henrico County Public Schools unveils updated logo

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) recently unveiled an updated logo to showcase the division's core values as part of a new strategic plan.

The new logo, pictured below, aims to reaffirm five core values that define the division's decision-making process and culture -- student-focused, belonging, collaboration, innovation and equity.

This refresh is part of Journey to 2030, a new strategic plan for the next five years created with help from community input.

While the logo features an updated color scheme symbolizing the Henrico Learner Profile -- a set of skills to set students up for success -- the logo has maintained the image of Pocahontas in an effort to continue acknowledging Henrico's roots and history.
