Henrico County residents can get expert advice on home projects

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- May marks Building Safety Month, and Henrico County is hosting an event this Saturday where residents can ask county building experts for advice on home construction and renovation projects.

The Ask Henrico's Building Experts event will be held on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Lowes located at 4401 Pouncey Tract Road in Glen Allen.

According to the county, residents will be able to receive recommendations on building code requirements, renovation projects, disaster preparedness, home safety, and the permitting process.
