Henrico County’s low water pressure prompts closure of spray parks

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County Recreation & Parks has announced the spray parks will be closed this weekend due to the current water situation.

In a Facebook post, Henrico County Recreation & Parks announced that all of the county's spray parks will be turned off starting Friday, May 30, and will remain closed until Monday, June 2.

According to the county, the spray parks are closed in effort to conserve water in the current water circumstances.

The announcement comes just hours after the county reported experiencing low water pressure after a water main break in the City of Richmond late Thursday evening.
