Henrico’s Pickle Ball festival is set to go into full swing this weekend

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County will be holding a Pickle Ball Tournament this Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This comes just in time as the sports popularity continues to grow nationwide. The festival will kick off at the Performance Pickleball RVA facility in Henrico.

As the interest in the sport continues to grow, so have locations. According to the U.S.A Pickleball website, the sport has added 4,000 new locations in 2024 alone, bringing the total number of courts nationwide to 15,910.

Festival goers can expect to see pickleball vendors, artisan vendors, themed drinks, live music and more according to Eventy's website.
