"We will be planting thousands of native perennials along the riparian buffer at Dooley Creek and hope the community will help us by planting one native perennial during their visit,” said Parke Richeson, Maymont president and CEO, in a press release. “At Herbs Galore, you can find everything from asters to zinnias, and also lend a hand in adding a touch of color to this historic landscape.”

Maymont will offer a free plant-check area for shoppers' convenience. Participants can park their purchases in the area while they explore the park and its gardens during peak blooming season.

Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Admission is $10 per adult and $6 per child ages 1 through 16 and seniors. Tickets are free for Maymont members and participants in the Museums for All program. For more information, visit Herbs Galore.
