Heritage restaurant closes after 13 years of operation in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Heritage, a seasonal New American restaurant based in Richmond's Fan District, has permanently closed.
The restaurant -- located at 1627 W Main St., announced its closing in a social post on Monday, Oct. 13.
"We have had the privilege of working with talented, wonderful humans over the years, and met passionate, gifted farmers," the post from the owners, Joe and Emilia Sparatta, reads. "We have come to know so many of you, our long-time guests, neighbors, and community."
This closing marks the end of the restaurant's history, which began 13 years ago. According to the restaurant's website, Joe and Emilia had previously worked at The Ryland Inn -- the only New Jersey restaurant to be awarded four stars by the New York Times.
